I was made to wait much longer than usual on collecting my car longer
The service I received was at Ocean Torbay........where the service was excellent. My wife and I were warmly welcomed each time we visited the dealership.
When it comes to customer care it is hard to beat BMW Ocean. The only reason why my wife and I have BMWs. You won't find another Stefan May anywhere else. Actually everyone who works in BMW Ocean is polite and helpful.

My car is always returned in a good state, you are kept in the loop if anything is required to be done or if the estimated completion chnages etc.
Service experience was ok. However, the main issue I have is the amount I was charged for oil - £15 per litre is excessively high. My wife's Mini is due for a service now and because of this, I am considering taking her car elsewhere.
had to wait a fairly long time to be seen even though my appointment had been booked, which then made me late to return back to work. On pick up of my vehicle it had not be cleaned due to insufficient time.

Very satisfied with the experience. My only thought was that the coffee shop was not open but it was 07:15 am and there was no desk / table for me to work at. Not a problem because Costa was around the corner. I was offered complimentary coffee.

I thought I had booked it in for the end of warranty and the small list of concerns but the garage had not given themselves enough time within the 2 hrs this was blamed on the person who booked the car in being new and inexperienced.

They do everything they can, it BMW that have let the side down, this car should never have got to me if it wasn't 100% tested, problem after problem, Ocean have to deal a pretty cheesed of bmw owner who is now wondering what's going to go wrong next
Too complicated to give details; suffice to say we had to complain to Stephan May, Service Manager, who was to look in to the issues we had experienced. He promised to ring us the next day -Tuesday 26th March and we are still waiting for his call.

During repair front bumper was not assembled back correctly and one of my front parking sensor was pushed in- needed to go back at own cost. Repair was not covered by warranty (
long delay resulted in 5 hour wait for car - it sat where I parked it for one and a half hours and was only brought in to start work after I challenged the unexpected delay which was not due to the 'big service' the service team blamed.
Only an mot, so not a service.
Only marked down slightly as I'm sure I was told if I brought my car in around 8am I could wait for it as would be one of first to do. Was not the case and didn't feel like sitting there for the predicted three hours or so, so walked home.
Cannot find the smallest thing to complain about. A pleasure from start to finish.
I was surprised when my BMW bought from Ocean about a year ago failed its MOT. A new tyre had split and an other tyre was required. It was only after all this was sorted out that someone suggested a 4 way wheel alignment check
In recent times I've not bothered to check MOT expiry dates, assuming that I'd get an email reminder from Ocean BMW. I didn't, the MOT expired before I could get an appointment so I had to take the car off the road for a few days.
Dealer had car in for a faulty sensor in November and again in December and never mentioned service was overdue until car bought in for MOT in March

The level of customer service within the service dept is in stark contrast to the sales dept, attitudes from some male members are condescending and unhelpful. Simple issues still unresolved. Love my car but don't like coming to Ocean Plymouth.

As always very polite service from everyone I dealt with at Ocean. The cost gives good value due to the length of time between services, and I know my car will be running perfectly when it leaves your workshop.
Confusing invoice I the service was only to check that there were no warranty concerns Similar checks on previous BMWs were FOC I would not have had it done if I knew I was to be charged, the checks I asked for certainty should have been FOC
The service department were fantastic sorting out a warranty issue. They kept me informed on what was going on and were very clear on wait times.
Once again Ocean BMW Plymouth provided a terrific service for my vehicle, and for myself when waiting to log my vehicle in to and to pick it up later from Ocean Plymouth.
It was supposed to be a waiting appointment and and wife and 4 month daughter waited from 1330 to 1800 for the car
I don't trust Ocean. I was charged run flat tyres although Ocean say it is not possible to use run flat tyres with the car I bought. After having so many problems with a new car, I am not satisfied to be told "sorry, you are just unlucky"

I had an unexpectedly large bill to pay, but I trust that all the work was necessary and completed to the highest standard. The staff I spoke to both on the phone and in the office were very approachable and understanding.
As I was very fortunate to deal with one technician all the time - who was outstanding - it wouldnt be fair to judge the whole experience in terms of Ocean overall. In terms of the technician, he deserves far more than 10 for his personal attention!
Asked whether I would like a complimentary wash, but this wasn't done
Because of the professional way in which they meet and greet me. Always seem to have time to talk to me, and I like that. It comes over as being interested in their customers long after the purchase of a new vehicle.

Andrew was awesome, could not fault his customer service. The only issue I had, was that it took too much time when I was dropping off my car, as Andrew said "the computer system was slow"
Could do with changing the reception experience, it's not clear that you have to 'report' to it before you approach the service or sales area. Maybe turn the desk through 90% with sign 'Please Report Here' that can be seen as you come thro' the door
No hassle start to finish
I have not given higher because I asked for the car to be washed and it wasn't,so I was told they would ring me the following work day but they did not and that was over 2 weeks ago ?
Would be regularly kept up to date, was a very easy process and that is all down to the staff
