See above - I have returned to Ocean for the past couple of years for my MOT/service as I've been to other garages who have ripped me off or patronised me. I always felt Ocean was a trustworthy brand and feel let down on this occasion.
On my recent visit I was disappointed. I had waited for my car and was told that the service was completed and my car was being cleaned. I waited another half hour only to find it hadn't been cleaned. They then "cleaned " it but it was very poor.
Went to collect my car i was give very respectful service and it was all very efficient

I was pleased that the windscreen wash was sorted this year - despite the same problem last year, the problem was not corrected in 2018. A more conscientious engineer in 2019? Car was valeted - but bird poo on a window and the boot space not brushed

Very helpful and efficient. But I can't afford the items spotted in the health check ad they are not urgent. It was nice to have them listed out though. But your staff need to explain it a bit more.

Service team are excellent. My car needed a new air conditioning part, the team kept me informed every step of the way and my air con now works perfectly again. Also I got my car back clean and shiny.
I have always been very happy with the service I receive at Ocean BMW in Plymouth.
I felt the time taken (2 hours) was excessive, especially as I had been given a specific appointment and then had to wait at the garage for the work to be carried out.

Sorted me a car to drive home when it was discovered that mine had 2 recall jobs instead of 1
Difficulty in booking a service date, had to wait several weeks. Also we had to wait almost twenty minutes on the actual day to book in with a service advisor.
Informed wipers needed replacing when they did not. Paid £10 more than that quoted at start. Video link showing brake/tyre wear was very good.

In the end I was given a £350 good will gesture which covered the cost of the paint correction service. However I'm left with a car that still has some minor scratches and dents that were caused by BMW are not possible to rectify without a respray.
Comfortable rest area. The service adviser did not seem very knowledgeable when questioned about tyre options.

Generally a very good dealer, but occasional mistakes are made during a service, but Ocean always sort the problems out, just frustrating the mistakes are made in the first place.
Very well looked after from start to finish, problem with vehicle was fully resolved first time with no issues.

... had my car in for squeaking (£125). Squeak returned, so booked it in again. Work lasted about 3 weeks but has returned. Now I'm told it due to the chemical I'm using on my wheels, which I use on all the wheels, yet only 1 is squeaking.

Couldn't give 5 stars, as there was a mix up over the availability of a courtesy car, but the manger was very helpful in resolving this.
As stated above could have been more organised in getting parts in for the first time the car was booked in rather than having to book the car in again. This was only a minor issue and the overall service here has been exceptional

When it comes to customer care it is hard to beat BMW Ocean. The only reason why my wife and I have BMWs. You won't find another Stefan May anywhere else. Actually everyone who works in BMW Ocean is polite and helpful.
The service I received was at Ocean Torbay........where the service was excellent. My wife and I were warmly welcomed each time we visited the dealership.

My car is always returned in a good state, you are kept in the loop if anything is required to be done or if the estimated completion chnages etc.
Service experience was ok. However, the main issue I have is the amount I was charged for oil - £15 per litre is excessively high. My wife's Mini is due for a service now and because of this, I am considering taking her car elsewhere.
had to wait a fairly long time to be seen even though my appointment had been booked, which then made me late to return back to work. On pick up of my vehicle it had not be cleaned due to insufficient time.

because it was great but not all my questions were answered and the website thing so I could see the actual car id ordered didn't work. the not knowing exactly how it would look caused me some worry
