December 4th and 5th were exciting dates for our Motorrad department as we launched BMW's very first Super Bike, S1000RR.

To mark this very special occasion 50 exclusive VIP guests were treated to an evening of mystery and intrigue followed it with an exciting launch in the showroom.

Meeting at the historic Barbican Mayflower Steps, Guests were taken by local water taxi to a mystery location, the 19th Century Royal William Yard, recently redeveloped by award winning design company Urban Splash (www.urbansplash.co.uk) it proved to be the perfect setting.

On arrival, guests were treated to a dynamic display of fire acrobatics whilst enjoying seasonal stollen and mulled wine (and yes the rain held off!) before moving inside.

Inside the impressive stone architecture guests were treated to canapes and refreshments whilst an impressive display of accessories and historical BMW race bikes helped build the atmosphere. With an old school music back drop (www.whatagiggle.com) the S1000RR was unveiled to a great response, guests enjoyed further acrobatic displays and portrait photo opportunities before completing the evening with an exhilarating trip back by water taxi.

A great evening was had by all and the fun continued on Saturday with the vibrant showroom launch, local cuisine was served from our Ocean Cafe, the DJ joined us again and we even had local hair and beauty salon The Hair Priory (www.thehairpriory.co.uk) treating our customers to some well earned pampering with complimentary gent's hair styling.
